MINI PROJECT 2
First Sketch For Master Plan
Generally, a conceptual plan is done as the first step of planning something. But I sketched a possible look for the master plan before making the bubble diagram. This made my whole work easier.

Conceptual Plan
For the conceptual plan, I made a bubble diagram trying to replicate my handmade sketch done at first. I created this using Microsoft PowerPoint using the main land area as a background. I also made a black-themed conceptual plan using MS PowerPoint too. Only the structures are created there to give it an actual view.

Pre-Plan before Master Plan
For the mini project 2 master plan, I tried to recreate a more specific soft sketch filled without colours so that I can input my thoughts on the perfect places on the site map. Since my laptop didn’t support any higher-level software, I had to keep on going with the MS PowerPoint.

Rendering to create Master Plan
Due to unsupported Adobe Photoshop or AutoCAD on my laptop, I chose a similar software - ‘Adobe Illustrator’ to complete my master plan. I had experience working in Photoshop but as a first time user of Illustrator, I didn’t face any difficulty. Instead, I felt it’s easier and I could comfortably add the elements for detailing. I chose to make a 3D master plan as it would add some more beauty to the planning.
After some days of patient work, I could finally complete rendering. Having a less capacity’s laptop, I found it difficult while rendering as my laptop was hanging frequently. Yes I could resolve my works done by watching some YouTube advice and take steps accordingly.

Voila! After a tremendous hard work, I completed my master plan which is implemented based on the conceptual plan. The final look is satisfactory to me. I tried to put every planned holdings, road and tree as it was stated in the first sketch.

Crit Session with Dr Zakiah Ponrahono
Attended crit sessions of Dr Zakiah. She suggested to choose a subtle background. While making the board presentation, I tried to follow her instructions-
1. The Tittle should be the biggest font and catchy
2. Use 2-3 colours overall and not to make the presentation too colourful
3. All the fonts of the briefs should be same size and smaller (better 20-30 size)
4. The titles of each part also should be same sized and a bit bigger from the briefs and bold
5. The master plan should be focused and can be filled with around 40% proportion
6. Last but not the least, the arrangement of the board presentation should be well organised with master plan, key findings, EMP, Feasibility Study & SWOT analysis

Final Board Presentation

This is the final look of the board presentation that I have done. I tried to keep a simple yet elegant view so that everyone can read it clearly without any extra focus. The fonts and colours are chosen accordingly. The paper size is Ao as there is a lot of information. Dr personally doesn’t prefer any boxes so I tried to abound totally this time.
Finally, I’m a happy planner who is contented with success, overcoming the limitations!
